NEFC is committed to ensuring that all staff, players and families feel welcomed at our club.

We strive to ensure all staff, players and families are part of the NEFC team, who are valued and feel comfortable in the environment created.

NEFC have set up a DEIB Committee, with the following leaders:

  • James Hamblin - NEFC General Manager
  • John Barata - NEFC South Director of Coaching
  • Megan Ostrelich - NEFC Metro West Female Coach
  • Mohammed Souisse - NEFC New Hampshire Director of Coaching
  • Karyn Greenawalt - NEFC Human Resource Director
  • Anthony Rougier - NEFC MLS Coach and the NEFC MLS Next Diversity Officer
  • Katie Francis- Parent of an NEFC player

NEFC's diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging committee goal is:

NEFC Staff/Employees:

  • Researching the current state of DEIB via our employees
  • Develop proactive strategies to prevent or eliminate discrimination
  • Develop clear policy on DEIB with actionable discipline
  • Implement educational programs
  • Train our staff to be leaders in this space
  • Review the effectiveness of DEIB programming and policy
  • Create a culture of inclusion, respect and togetherness
NEFC Players/Families:
  • Researching the current state of DEIB via our players/families
  • Provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Include DEIB policy in future player contracts/code of conduct
  • Hold players/parents accountable for their actions
  • Educational Seminars on DEIB
  • Provide role models for our players
  • Review the effectiveness of DEIB for our players/families
  • Create a culture of inclusion, respect and togetherness
